This unusual vintage bracelet was handcrafted during the mid 1900's or earlier in Central Asia for the nomadic Kuchi tribe.

The style is characteristic of the Waziri Kuchi tribes near the Kashmir Valley at the foot of the Himalayas.

Made of sturdy brass, the band is hollow making it relatively light weight for its ample size. The terminal ends are classically rounded to allow the cuff to slide on easily, while holding it securely on the wrist when worn.

The ornate decorations have a colorful faceted bead on each end, adding dimension and a splash of color.

This old cuff has a rich age patina giving it a wonderful glow that only comes with the passage of time.
