The large vintage sterling silver Dragon King pendant on this necklace was handcrafted for the Thai Hmong during the mid-1900's. In Hmong traditions, the Dragon King is a kindly being, who offers protections and wise judgements.
The elegant chain is contemporary - accenting the pendant perfectly in substantial and fluid silver plate.
A mild age patina remains after many years of time. Excellent condition.
