Antique Turkmen Tribal Jewelry Large Gonjok Pendant
Extraordinary old Turkmen Tribal Jewelry Pendant - Huge Diamond-Shaped Gonjok (Gonjik, Gonjuk) pendant with dangles. Approximately 100 years old from Afghan Turkmen region with classic niello and gilding.
Turkmen women wore gonguks as necklace that fell to waist level, or sewn directly onto panels of fabric or garments for show. This old Turkmen tribal gonjik is in excellent Museum Quality, collectible condition.
