Very unusual old tribal jewelry Torque (Torc) Necklace from Afghanistan skillfully handcrafted in the early 1900's of sturdy mixed metals. Rich patina intact and mild wear patterns remain on metal. Collectible, wearable. Torc necklaces have been worn throughout Central Asia and Egypt for millennia.
To wear a torc like this one, gently twist the ends in opposite directions (one end up, one end down) to make the back opening just large enough to slip your neck through. Then release the ends so the necklace can return to its usual shape. Fits average sized adult female.
