Indigenous cultures are rapidly being absorbed into modern society at an astounding rate. Their ancient traditions, customs, and artistry is quickly forgotten.

 

The owner of Tribal Muse, Andrea, holds a Masters Degree in Cultural Anthropology, which celebrates diversity of thought, practices, and people. Over the years, she has developed long-term relationships across the globe to find unusual old tribal-jewelry pieces, often of museum quality. These authentic and unique pieces are purchased directly from the regions in which they originated. Wherever possible, Tribal Muse provides provenience (origin and history) and symbolic interpretation.

Products deemed "National Treasures" are NOT sold at Tribal Muse, since they rightfully belong to the nation of origin.
