Colorful Vintage Afghan Kuchi Tribal Jewelry
This vintage Afghan tribal
choker was handcrafted during the mid-1900's for the nomadic Kuchi tribe of
Central Asia.
It is an old tribal jewelry
necklace - not a new reproduction.
MEASUREMENTS: (1 inch - 2.54 cm)
Length = Adjustable with ties
Front Drop = 6-1/2 inches (distance between edges at center front)

Material = Glass; Metal; Ties
The wide neckband has a
series of ornate links interspersed with colorful beads, including 3 clusters of large faceted red beads.
Richly-decorated long dangles with beaded-charms on the ends hang below, clattering noisily together with
movement.
Ties were more recently added
on the ends for adjusting the length (tied at 14-1/2 inches on manikin image).
In excellent condition, there are mild wear patterns and a warm age-patina after so many years.
