These remarkable Extra-Long Vintage Kuchi Spear Ear Ornaments were handcrafted in mid to later 1900's. They are a full 8-inches long, intended to be worn looped over the entire ear, rather than through a piercing. Wearing ear ornaments like this one were frequently a display of elevated status. Today, they can also be worn along the side (or back) of the head by attaching to the hair, head pieces, or veils.

They can certainly be worn as regular earrings if you prefer, however the earwire gauge size (10-12 gauge) is larger than standard-sized pierced ears. We have several of these wonderful earrings to choose from.
