This unusual large ring was handcrafted by Afghan tribal jewelry artisans in Central Asia.

It has a domed center with a Lapis Lazuli stone in an ornate setting. A ring of turquoise-colored beads encircle the outer rim. 

An antiqued finish adds depth. The band is also ornately embellished, in true Afghan jewelry style. This is a handcrafted ring with minor discolorations on the back where the band attaches to the back of the ring.
