Large Vintage Kashmiri Tribal Jewelry Crescent Earrings

These wonderful large Vintage Crescent-shaped Earrings were handcrafted in the mid to early 1900's in the Kashmir Valley at the base of the Himalayas. Each earring has 3 vibrantly-colored faceted pink beads sets in raised bezels and 2 globe-style accents.

Skillfully incised floral designs cover the surface in classic Kashmiri tradition. Sturdy wire-wrapped dangles hang below, with a bell at the end of each for making a wonderful sound with movement.

The age patina has been mostly polished away, revealing a glowing luster.  Gauged Earwires are 18 gauge, which is slightly larger than standard earlobe piecing size, and will not fit through small piercings.

A warm age patina remains, giving a glow to these vintage earrings that only the passage of time can create.
