Large Vintage Waziri Tribal Jewelry Choker Necklace
This large vintage Waziri choker-necklace was handcrafted during the mid-1900's for the nomadic Afghan Kuchi tribe of Central Asia.
It is old tribal jewelry - not a new reproduction.
MEASUREMENTS: (1 inch = 2.54 cm)
Neckband length = 12-1/2 inches (not including ties)
Front Drop = 2-3/4 inches (distance between edges at center front)

Material = Glass beads, Coins, Metal, Cords
Made with a series of traditional links, the wide flexible-neckband has large distinctively-Waziri beaded-starbursts spanning across its front.
Old coins and charm dangles hang along the lower border, clattering together with movement.
It has new ties for adjusting the length (tied at 14-1/2 inches in the manikin images).
In excellent condition, there are mild wear-patterns and a warm age-patina after so many years.
