This extraordinary Large Native American Indian Jewelry Pendant with Earrings set is one of the finest we’ve ever seen. It is called the Night Sky Bear, or Cosmic Bear, portraying shooting stars and heavenly bodies at night. Like the Squash Blossom, it has become a standard in Indian Jewelry-making. 

The original Night Sky Bear was created by Preston Monongye in the 1960s and the design was soon adopted by many Navajo, Zuni and Hopi jewelry artisans. We have not seen a Night Sky Bear set as skillfully constructed or as beautifully made as this one anywhere else.

The stones are Acoma jet, pipestone, turquoise, pearl oyster, and opal skillfully inlaid in a substantial Sterling Silver setting. The artisan’s technique was so precise, that there are no ridges or spaces between the stones, making the surface completely smooth to the touch.
 
This is a sturdily made, beautiful set, that is Native American Indian handcrafted with the artisan’s Hallmark JP and crown stamped on the back.
