Old Afghan Kuchi Ornate Tribal Jewelry Bracelet
This long old Afghan Kuchi Bracelet was sturdily handcrafted in the
early 1900's by Tribal Jewelry artisans who lavishly embellished every
surface with designed and colorful beads.
The
bracelet is tapered, with a wide ring of spiked protrusions encircling
the narrow end to protect the wrist. A pin-clasp allows the bracelet to
be opened and closed for a secure fit.
There
is a rich age patina that emphasizes the historical life of this old
collectible, wearable Afghan Kuchi Tribal Jewelry bracelet. We purchased
a collection of 4 similar bracelets all on our website now found in our

About Kuchi: The
Kuchi are a nomadic group of people who have traveled freely across
international boundaries in the Middle East and Central Asia.
They
frequently traded goods and shared ideas as they wandered over great
distances. They frequently
adopted the colorful jewelry and clothing from the areas they traveled
through, giving their wardrobes a delightfully eccentric look.
Kuchi jewelry and clothing is renowned for its vibrant energy, exuberant colors, and creative spirit.
