This very large vintage Afghan tribal bead was handcrafted during the mid to early 1900's for the nomadic Kuchi tribe of Central Asia. 

It will make a great focal bead for your own tribal jewelry creation, or it is large enough to be worn on a cord all by itself as a large pendant.

This large bead has a whipped-wire design spanning the center, and twisted wire cap at the top. There are 5 large colorful beads at the bottom, catching the light for flashes of color. 

This old bead was skillfully and sturdily made. It has been gently polished with a warm age patina giving it glow that only the passage of time can create.
