Organic Jewelry - Tagua Nut Necklace and Bracelet Set
Beautiful Fair Trade organic jewelry set including both the necklace and bracelet. This is Fair Trade jewelry handcrafted in Ecuador using local Tagua nuts shaped into pearls and strands of dangling Salwag seed.
Only natural dyes from Italy were used for coloring the Tagua "pearls;" the Salwag seeds were not dyed, and are their natural color. The bracelets were all made using Ecuadoran Tagua nuts. Each is strung with 2 elastic strands, so they will fit most wrists.
Tagua nuts are known as "vegetable ivory." They grow on Tagua palm trees in the rainforests of Ecuador, and provide a sustainable, eco-friendly, and renewal resource for local communities and artisans. Our Tagua nut jewelry is all Fair Trade.
