Vintage Himalayan Tribal Jewelry Silver Pendant Necklace

Sturdily and ornately vintage silver pendant necklace handcrafted in the Nepal-Tibetan region of the Himalayas in the mid to late 1900's. 

It is generously studded with natural turquoise, real amber, and red coral set amidst an array of intricate multi-level silver swirls and spirals. A running border of clouds billows along the edges. 

The Himalayan Mountains are located at extremely high elevations, often above the cloud line. Local people know clouds intimately, and consider them links between heaven and earth, symbolizing great harmony.
