Handcrafted Vintage Kuchi Earrings - Ornate Afghan Jewelry 

These ornate vintage tribal earrings were handcrafted in the Mazar region of Northern Afghanistan during the early to mid-1900's for the  nomadic Kuchi tribe.

Magnificent dangles hang from the lavishly decorated hoops with large colorful beads. A rich age patina adds a glow that only the passage of time can create. 

These are gauged earrings, meaning that the earwire that goes through the hole in the earlobe are larger than a standard earwire, and will not fit through a small earlobe piercing. The earwire is 16 gauge.
