Vintage Aqeeq Yamani Afghan Silver and Agate Ring
This large Vintage Aqeeq Yamani Ring was handcrafted of Silver and Carnelian in Central Asia during the early to mid-1900’s.
Ornate silverwork surrounds the band and bezel of the oval Carnelian Stone that virtually glows when placed in the light.
This is a well made ring with a good weight. It is in excellent condition. There are mild wear patterns and a warm age patina, adding depth and a sheen that only the passage of time can create.
Wearing an aqeeq ring is a Central Asian tradition, believed to protect the wearer from danger, and to attract positive energies such as vigor, prosperity, and clarity of thought.
