Vintage Kuchi Tribal Jewelry Necklace with Personal Pendants
This unusual vintage
tribal jewelry necklace was handcrafted during the mid 1900
s for the nomadic Afghan Kuchi tribe of Central Asia.
This is old Afghan jewelry - not a new reproduction.
It has 5 vibrantly-beaded triangle pendants,
including a large one at the center with an addition of 2 personal-pendant charms.
Smaller beaded floral drop pendants are interspersed among the triangles.
Clattering bells rim the
lower borders, while ornately beaded links form the chain.
A simple hook clasp completes the back. The hook of the clasp can be attached to closer links on the chain for adjusting the length of the necklace as desired.
Very mild wear patterns and a warm age patina remain after many years of time.
Comes in a gift box.
