Vintage Tribal Jewelry from AfghanistanThis wonderful large pendant was handcrafted in Afghanistan in the mid to late 1900's.
It has the classic red 1/2 moon crescent design with magnificent bell dangles...well worth the price of the pendant alone.
The 5-pronged bejeweled pendant is shaped in the form of the famed Turkmen horse's bridle - a tribute to a beloved animal and forerunner of current Arabian steeds.
Pendant is in excellent condition with a warm age patina and all beads intact.
