VINTAGE TURKMEN NECKLACE - Handcrafted Tribal Jewelry Choker from Turkmenistan in Central Asia

This traditional Turkmen (Turkoman) choker necklace was handcrafted during the later-1900's for the Ersari sub-tribe of Turkmenistan in Central Asia.

It is vintage tribal jewelry, not a new reproduction.

MEASUREMENTS: (1 inch = 2.54 cm)

Its flexible neckband has a series of interconnected medallion-links. One of the links is loose on one end, but secure on the other end. Because of this I have discounted the price, although it is barely noticeable.

Distinctively-Turkmen charms with pointed tips hang freely below, clattering together with movement.

3 red beads add vibrant color while warding off the evil-eye.

There is an embedded hook-clasp at the back

It has a warm age patina and mild wear patterns. Discounted price, as is.
